Mountain Railroading |
Description: |
Normally I don't put images like this on the web, but the sheer power of 2 SD40-E's, a GP38-2, and a high-hood SD40-2 all solidly locked in Run-8, while being blasted past by Dash-9's, was too awesome not to present here. Yup, this is mountain railroading, and I'll be back here again. |

Bridges! |
Description: |
NS rail train 93A rolls east across the Conemaugh River just south of the Conemaugh Dam near Blairsville, PA, in sweet light! The train is also crossing the old alignment of the PRR Conemaugh Line, relocated during the dam construction. My first ever moving train on the Conemaugh Line, and with a nice blue sky, it's hard to believe that tomorrow will bring several feet of snow to the area. |
